Top Things to Do This Fall in Research Triangle Park

The Research Triangle Park area, fondly referred to as The Triangle, is an area that gets its name from the three prestigious research universities within its limits, North Carolina State University, Duke University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Triangle Park is a beautiful area to explore, and every year exciting cultural and entertainment events bring thousands to the area. 1. 44th Annual Centerfest Arts Festival, September 15th-16th 2018
The Arts Festival is a must-attend for art lovers of all ages and backgrounds. Over 145 visual artists from all over the country will have their work on display, and 75 individual and group performance artists will entertain through music, dance, and a host of other exciting, engaging ways. Add in the great food venues present, and the Arts Festival is a can’t-miss on our calendar this fall.

2. Goat Yoga and Guided Meditation, September 2nd – December 9th, 2018 (Every Sunday, Saturday)
They say that there is a niche for everyone, and if you love goats and yoga, this event is for you. Goat Yoga has been growing in popularity throughout the country as a relaxing, cuddle-filled form of stress relief. This event has trained therapy goats, sheep, and a loving livestock guardian dog to help you reach an inner Zen surrounded by cute and cuddly friends.

3. Localfest, September 29th, 2018
Localfest is a festival observing and celebrating all things important to the area, but patrons from far and wide can come enjoy the fun. The festival is complete with Mariachi music, live fiddling, guitar-playing, harmonizing, and dancing for everyone. This family event also hosts pony rides, puppet shows, and mural workshops. There is even a beer garden filled with local craft brews for the adults to enjoy.

4. War On the Catwalk: The Queens from Season 10, September 5th, 2018
Murray & Peter present an amazing drag show at the Carolina Theatre of Durham. The show has strong live performances from all of the contestants from Ru Paul’s Drag Race Season 10. This all-ages show will definitely be a fabulous event to remember.
